Part-Time Logistics Operations Coordinator

As our operations continue to grow, we are seeking a dependable, organized, and proactive Part-Time Logistics Operations Coordinator to support our daily delivery operations and driver network.

The Logistics Operations Coordinator will assist the VP of Operations & Compliance with the day-to-day coordination of McMahan Medical's delivery operations.

This position will serve as a primary point of contact for drivers during active delivery operations, helping ensure routes are properly staffed, drivers have the information they need, delivery issues are addressed promptly, and operational procedures are followed.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who can stay organized, solve problems quickly, and remain professional in a fast-moving environment.

• Communicate with drivers before and during daily delivery operations.
• Confirm driver availability, attendance, and route coverage.
• Assist with coordinating substitute and backup drivers when coverage is needed.
• Communicate route assignments, pickup information, operational updates, and special delivery instructions.
• Monitor active routes and follow up with drivers regarding route progress, delays, or potential issues.
• Assist drivers with routine operational questions while they are in the field.
• Escalate significant delivery, client, compliance, or driver concerns to the VP of Operations & Compliance.
• Help ensure drivers follow McMahan Medical delivery procedures, including proof-of-delivery requirements.
• Follow up on undeliverable packages and confirm required return or redelivery procedures are followed.
• Help verify that delivery photos and other required documentation are completed properly.
• Communicate reminders and operational expectations to new and existing drivers.
• Assist with onboarding and orientation of new drivers.
• Maintain organized driver and operational records.
• Document incidents, delivery concerns, call-outs, coverage issues, and other important operational events.
• Provide the VP of Operations & Compliance with updates on daily operations and unresolved issues.
• Assist with other logistics and administrative responsibilities as McMahan Medical continues to grow.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Comfortable using mobile applications, text messaging, email, spreadsheets, and logistics technology.
• Dependable and responsive during scheduled working hours.
• Ability to handle confidential business and healthcare-related information professionally.
• Previous experience in logistics, dispatching, transportation, healthcare operations, pharmacy operations, or customer service is preferred but not required.

We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their responsibilities and understands that healthcare logistics requires reliability, urgency, professionalism, and attention to detail.

The right person will be able to handle routine operational matters independently while recognizing when an issue should be escalated to leadership.

This is a part-time position. The schedule will be structured around McMahan Medical's primary delivery and operational hours and may require availability during active delivery periods.

Specific weekly hours and schedule will be discussed during the interview process.

The Logistics Operations Coordinator reports directly to the VP of Operations & Compliance and works closely with McMahan Medical leadership and its delivery driver network.

This position is intended to provide operational support and reduce the VP of Operations & Compliance's involvement in routine driver communication and daily logistics coordination so leadership can remain focused on compliance, client relationships, operational development, and company growth.
